Questions & answers

What is Chargefield?
Chargefield is a boutique key art studio based in Toronto, Canada. It designs movie posters and key art, plus the motion side of a campaign - trailers and A/V, title design and motion graphics - along with social, packaging, and branding, for film, television, music, and brands. Clients range from studios, distributors, and streamers to independent filmmakers.
What is key art?
Key art is the central image of a film or show's marketing campaign - the poster artwork that anchors everything from the theatrical one-sheet to streaming thumbnails, billboards, and social. Strong key art captures a story's tone in a single frame and adapts across every format a campaign needs.
What does Chargefield make?
Movie and series posters (teaser, advance, and final one-sheets), key art and theatrical one-sheets, title design and title sequences, trailers and TV/streaming spots, motion graphics, album art and music-campaign visuals, packaging, brand identity, and social and digital cut-downs - plus the full range of resized key art formats a campaign ships in, from billboards to streaming thumbnails.
What is BillingBlox?
BillingBlox is Chargefield's free tool for building movie poster billing blocks - the dense credit block at the bottom of a one-sheet. It sets cast and crew credits in the industry-standard condensed type and exports print-ready artwork. Try it at billingblox.com.
What are the standard movie poster dimensions?
The theatrical one-sheet - the standard movie poster - is 27 × 40 inches (686 × 1016 mm). Other common print formats include 40 x 30 inches for a UK quad poster, 24 × 36 inches for retail prints, and 11 × 17-inch mini posters. Digital and streaming key art is delivered at each platform's required pixel dimensions, including the common horizontal 1920 x 1080 pixels. Chargefield builds key art to adapt cleanly across all of them.
Who runs Chargefield?
